Accommodation
Tips from Claire & Daniel
Note 1 : Hotel rooms and beds in Japan are smaller. Please bear this in mind when you book. (e.g. I would avoid booking a double bed for two people)
Note 2 : If you are not a smoker, book a [Non-Smoking] room
1. Stay near Tokyo, Ginza, Yuurakucho, Shinjuku or Ikubukero Stations
2. Stay near a station that has both JR and Subway Lines
3. You need to contact the hotel directly by calling/emailing them if you can't book online
They may have spaces available even if it says booked out online - booking.com, agoda, etc
4. We recommend you start booking ASAP - Dec is peak season!
5. There are many direct bus services available from Narita airport to hotels in Tokyo
Check direct bus timetables here
