Tokyo/Ginza Area

Accommodation? Central area of Tokyo. Famous for luxury shopping, dining and entertainment - featuring many department stores, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants/izakayas, night clubs and cafes. Must visit! Our favourite area in Tokyo!

Akasaka Area

Accommodation? [Our wedding venue is located in this area.] Known to be the 'business' district. Fmous for art galleries, shopping streets/centres and restaurants.

Shinjuku Area

Accommodation? Shinjuku is a central ward of Tokyo, known as the metropolis' second center. You will find everything here - shopping, restaurants, night-life, boutique cafes and much more. Must visit at least once!

Ikebukuro Area

Accommodation? Ikebukuro is a large district, which offers indoor theme parks and aquarium, Sunshine City, Seibu and Tobu department stores, electronic stores, and many more. Also famous with ramen shops. Amazing RAMEN!

Harajuku/Omote Sando Area

Known as a center of Japanese youth culture and fashion. Shopping and dining options include many small and independent boutiques and cafés (Visit Takeshita Dori).

Just a short walk away is the more sophisticated Omotesando area. Fashion buildings and galleries line up along the tree-lined street, where you can enjoy shopping, gourmet food and art.

Roppongi/Shibuya Area

Shibuya is packed with shopping, dining and nightclubs. Close to Omotesando and Harajuku. Must visit!

Roppongi is known for its nightlife (bars, restaurants and dance clubs).

Asakusa Area

Sensoji is Tokyo's largest temple and a major attraction. Asakusa has many restaurants and places to try traditional Japanese food. Most popular treats include satsuma imo, Japanese sweet potatoes, and hot rice drink (Amazake)! Must visit!

Akihabara Area

Known as Tokyo's Electric Town - thousands of shops selling technological gadget you can imagine, from computers to gaming consoles and vacuums to DVDs, at reasonable prices. This area is also known as the "Gamer's Mecca (anime/manga)".

Tokyo Sky Tree Area

Skytree is a new landmark of Tokyo. It is the centerpiece of the Tokyo Skytree Town in the Sumida City Ward, not far away from Asakusa.

A large shopping complex with aquarium is located at its base. Think of this as the new Tokyo Tower! Tembo Dock has best 360 degree panoramic views of the city. Must visit!

Odaiba Area

Odaiba is a large artificial island in Tokyo Bay - this area offers enjoyment for the whole family throughout the day. Mirai-kan (Japanese Science museum - they have English translations for everything) visit is a must. Odaiba is not located in the most convenient area, we do not recommend staying near here. 

Shinagawa Area

Shinagawa area is one of the principal transportation hubs of Tokyo. This area is known as 'business' district. We do not recommend staying near Shinagawa for 'seeing' Tokyo. Shinagawa station has direct train connections to Narita Airport which is provided by Narita Express.
